The Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA) will come up for reuthorization in 2007. A working group, Act 4 Juvenile Justice, composed of national and state-based organizations, has been formed to ensure that the Act, when it is reauthorized, continues to protect young people across the country.
The working group has developed a "Statement of Principles" which they are asking advocates across the country to sign. The principles may be viewed at the JJDPA issue page, (linked below).
