Report of the Attorney General’s National Task Force on Children Exposed to Violence 

The Attorney General’s Task Force on Children Exposed to Violence recently released a final report, Defending Childhood, which they hope will serve as “a blueprint for preventing children’s exposure to violence and for reducing the negative effects experienced by children exposed to violence across the United States.” The report's sweeping recommendations cover everything from ways to reduce the epidemic of childhood violence and identify and heal the survivors, to organizing communities and rethinking the juvenile justice system.
